Amelia Jane Lewis, founder of Studio Milieu  is a talented interior designer with a passion for blending the old with the new. Raised in the coastal town of Brighton, UK, she spent her formative years working alongside her father in his interior design store, where she developed a deep appreciation for antiques and timeless modern design.

Amelia's love for design was further enriched by summers spent in the South of France, where she absorbed the elegance and sophistication of European aesthetics. With a particular fondness for mid-century modern style, she seamlessly integrates modernist elements into her designs, creating spaces that are both stylish and functional.

In 2009, Amelia relocated to Australia, settling first in Bondi, Sydney, before eventually finding her home on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Trained at Melbourne's 'Design School', she brings a thoughtful approach to her work, believing that every space should not only look good but also be practical and livable.

Now married with two young boys, Amelia's designs are influenced by the dynamics of family life, prioritizing comfort and functionality without compromising on style. Her signature style could be described as considered eclecticism, where she artfully combines different styles and periods to create unique and inviting interiors.
